The Data Analyst and Data Scientist are both data experts but have different key roles. Working in Data Analytics is basically analysing the data and drawing relevant insights in order to solve a problem. Good Data Analysts have both technical and communication skills. This role requires to have a business, management, human resources or marketing profile, or work experience with analytic focus. Knowledge of the different languages and an intellectual curiosity are also “nice to have”! On the other hand, Data Scientists have strong mathematical, statistical and computer science skills that allow them to build algorithms.
