Glion has around 90 nationalities on campus and as the hospitality industry is about meeting different people on daily basis, it provides a great environment to get used to diversity. Other schools do not offer the same diversity in nationalities. And Glion is accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) which is the same accreditation body that accredits Harvard and other Ivy League universities. Very few Swiss hospitality schools can offer this.
Professionally, Glion helped me to grow and to build the person I am today. Glion has a powerful network. It brings you many connections and it is actually a Glion alumnus who put me in contact with the Director of Market strategy for the Marriott Cluster in Brussels. I went to Brussels as Revenue trainee. I discovered how Marriott was working and since then Revenue Management became my main focus to begin my career.
